  • Conducted from the ground with limited visibility into internal or upper canopy issues.

Level 1-3 Tree Risk Assessment

For a more detailed evaluation, we provide Level 1-3 Tree Risk Assessments, utilizing the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Tree Risk Assessment Form. This thorough diagnostic process assesses structural integrity, health concerns, and potential hazards.

Key Features:

  • Level 1: Ground-based assessment, similar to the Level 1 Arborist Inspection but with a focus on risk factors.

  • Level 2: Involves more in-depth investigation, which may include resistograph testing, sonic tomography, and aerial drone imaging to assess internal decay or defects.

  • Level 3: A climbing assessment, where the arborist ascends the tree to conduct a full structural evaluation, including hard-to-see areas in the canopy.

  • Evaluations are not limited to a single property—they can apply to trees overhanging property lines or posing risks to neighboring structures.

  • Comprehensive risk ratings and mitigation strategies provided.

Level 3 Arborist Inspection

A Level 3 Arborist Inspection is our most comprehensive tree evaluation, conducted by a certified arborist who physically climbs the tree. This service is recommended for high-risk trees, trees of significant value, or those showing signs of advanced decay or instability.

What may be Included::

  • A full tree climbing inspection for a 360-degree evaluation of structure, health, and potential risks.

  • All data and insights from the Level 1 assessment, with additional close-up inspections of limbs, branch attachments, and canopy integrity.

  • Identification of hidden defects, including cracks, cavities, fungal growth, and deadwood concerns.

  • Detailed reporting with actionable recommendations for treatment, pruning, or removal if necessary.
